Dietary education
Food service and snacks
” Complying with Vietnamese dietary consumption standards, we supervise the creation of menus to ensure a healthy, balanced meal every day. Special lunches are provided on event days, including Tanabata summer festival lunch, Halloween lunch, and Japanese lunch, to nurture children’s interest in food and eating.”

Our concept of meals
* To develop motivation to eat
By stimulating the five senses, we aim to develop the motivation to eat through visual pleasure, sound, flavor, texture, and smell.
* Pleasing to the eye and respecting the natural taste
We take special care about the ingredients and aesthetics of food. Special lunches are provided on special events as meals that are also pleasing to the eye.
* Greetings before and after eating
“Thank you for the food”―giving a greeting evokes thankfulness for having food and respect and gratitude for the people involved in making and serving the meals.
* Developing a sense of responsibility for your role through meal helper duties
Through the experience of meal helper duties, children learn good meal manners and to cooperate with their peers.

Cooking class
A cooking class is planned and provided once a year according to the age and development of the children. Children get to touch the foodstuff with their own hands. This opportunity to gain a feeling of achievement from making their own food and the sense of fulfillment from creating something together in cooperation with others fosters an interest in food.
It also offers the experience for children to actively think about food in relation to health through learning about the ingredients and how to cook.
